The Malaria Atlas Project has had a busy start to the year, most recently Professor Peter Gething and Associate Professor Daniel Weiss travelled to India to meet with key stakeholders in the malaria eradication space.

MAP would like to thank Prof Lalit Dandona and colleagues from the Public Health Foundation of India and Dr Ashwani Kumar from the ICMR Malaria Vector Control Research Centre in Puducherry and colleagues for their warm hospitality and for hosting Professor Gething and Associate Professor Weiss during their visit. MAP is excited about collaborating to strengthen India malaria mapping and looks forward to a future working together.
